Congratulations to Dave Perry who reached 25 years service on 1st July.  Dave started in 1991 with RMC Mortars, CEMEX Concrete in 2008 and Northern DSM and Mortars & Screed in 2012.  Dave has seen massive changes in his 25 years and comments: “There was no internet, no mobile phones or the mass of technology and social media we have today – it was pagers and dirty telephone boxes back then.  The mortar market in the North West has gone from lime sand in skips to ready to use, and the rise of the dry silo mortar market.  The UK DSM market started on my patch in April 2002 and the first Supaflo load was trialed at site in Oldham in 2000.  The biggest change though has been our Health & Safety culture and it has been for the better.”

In the picture shows Dave being handed over his award by Adam Smith, alongside the Northern Mortar & Screed Team, Shippers and Sales Reps.  Dave has spent his money on flights for a holiday to Malaga with his family.
