Do You Use Macros?

Starting January, Microsoft will gradually modify the default settings on its Office apps globally. For security enhancements, macros will be blocked in all files. This change prevents malicious actors from gaining access to deploy malware.

A macro is a small program or set of actions that you can run repeatedly within an Excel file.

The next time you open a file (applies on previously created and new files) the following message may be displayed:

It is important that macros remain blocked as default as far as possible. Do not unblock if you have any concerns or are uncertain about the file’s origin.
