“At DSM we have excellent comments from our customers, via the feedback forms, on the way we run our business.”  Resting on our laurels we organised a training session for all our service engineers with M-TEC,” commented Roger Taylor, DSM Operations Manager.

“M-TEC manufacture a lot of the mixers which mix the Dry Silo Mortar and bolt on to the bottom of our silos.  Ralph, from M-TEC, ran through a presentation which included maintenance of the mixer units and some very good pointers on fault finding – a very worthwhile training session which will benefit both CEMEX and our customers.

Andrew Bright took the opportunity whilst all the engineers were together to go through some of the topics which are being highlighted at the moment, for example, the mobile phone ‘Be Smart’ initiative.   This was very thought-provoking and prompted a lot of good debate. Isolation and Lock Off was also debated and the new escalation process was discussed.”
