Last Saturday saw over 100 aggregates employees from our Scottish Aggregates Business and their families attend our first ever family day held at Cambusmore Quarry.  The weather stayed dry and everyone enjoyed the entertainment that had been laid on.

Everyone had the opportunity to enjoy balloon modeling from Bubbles the Clown, a bouncy castle for the kids, a nature walk around the Quarry, the opportunity to view plant, equipment and cycle safety, along with refreshments, competitions and a raffle.

All the kids left site with their own junior hi viz vests and a goody bag.  Each family also received a DVD to give them an insight into CEMEX and the operations of a Quarry.  A great day was had by all – now the children know what their parents get up to at work!
