Readymix Area Manager for London, Nigel Bateman, commented: “London has taken a decision to refresh the Plant mixers with Stepney x 2, Canning Town, Croydon, Fulham and Wembley all being shot blasted and painted by the Plant staff themselves to a very high standard.

In addition to this, Plant mess rooms and toilet facilities were spruced up at Sydenham and Chiswick with brand new self-contained units.

New safety walkways were installed at Canning Town and Stepney, and Wembley Plant had a face-lift in many areas.  Pictured is the mixer which was painted by the Plant staff.
