Two members of South Ferriby’s Production team are celebrating; having both passed their NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. Rob Campbell (Production Team Leader, pic left) and Dave Oliver (Process Operator, pic right) were both delighted with their results following completion of the course.

The course involved three weeks of classroom-based study, interspersed with a further three weeks of homework and revision before the final exams. The course encompasses a range of topics including Health & Safety management systems, legal responsibilities, British and European standards and workplace hazards.

The final NGC 3 unit culminated with the chance to put all their learning into practice with an on-the-job assignment.
