August 2018 marked a 40 year work anniversary for South Ferriby’s Phil Helsby (right). He was presented his award of £1,500 in holiday vouchers by his Supervisor, Rob Campbell (left).

For much of his career Phil has worked on shifts as a Laboratory Tester; being responsible for analysing the raw mill and kiln production and adjusting the raw inputs to ensure we stay in target with our quality parameters. After 40 arduous years as our ‘Shift Scientist’, he is now looking forward to taking a relaxing break with his wife, Judy, in Spain.  Congratulations Phil.
