Our Public Affairs team recently welcomed Mary Creagh, Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Coventry North East, and the then candidate, now newly elected Mayor of the West Midlands, Richard Parker, to our Binley HQ for a briefing on our operations.

They discussed Cemex’s footprint and operations in the West Midlands, our commitment to biodiversity and restoration of our sites, our efforts to support a circular economy, our industry leading road safety standards, and also how national policy can support our business and our wider industry.

It is important for us to speak to politicians and policy makers so that we are able to understand their policy priorities and how we can work together to achieve our shared goals.

The team were grateful for Mary and Richard for visiting us, and we very much look forward to working with them closely going forward.
