After 42 years, 5 months and 12 days it is time for John Miller, Central Regional Director Aggs, to retire and bid a fond farewell to CEMEX.  We asked John to pen a few words…

“Having grown up in the Rugby area I always felt a connection with Rugby Cement not least due to the many orange trucks that frequented the roads. I was, therefore, delighted to receive a job offer as a Sales Order Clerk – little did I know then of the opportunities and challenges that the business would provide in Cement, Ash, Marine and Aggregates.

I have a lot to be thankful for to Rugby, RMC and CEMEX. I have worked for and with many talented individuals and have always been energised by the passion, determination and commitment of my fellow colleagues and it is these characteristics that will contribute to CEMEX’s success in 2019 and beyond. Wishing you all a very happy Christmas and hopefully a prosperous New Year!”
