As you can see the Bedford Plant toilets were in a sorry state. Andy Lawrence proposed a makeover using the welfare improvement budget at the Cluster 15 Safety Committee meeting and the project was selected as a great first project for the Cluster.
As a qualified plumber Bletchley Plant Manager, Craig Hall, was called in to service to carry out the work which included dry lining the walls, tiling the floor and walls, completely re-plumbing and fitting a new toilet and sink – all for under the £450 budget. What a good job Craig has made of it, even trying out the facilities for comfort!
With Bletchley getting very busy, it took longer than originally hoped and thank you to the Bedford staff and drivers for bearing with the delays. Hopefully the results have been well worth the wait. Here’s a picture of Craig checking out his handy work!
