Cemex LabExperts were completing a commercial circular economy project for Manufacturing Technology Centre evaluating potential incorporation of RCA into sleepers. As part of the project, the customer asked if full scale sleepers could be produced as example pieces. Working as One Cemex Paul and the team at Rochester hand mixed sufficient material to produce the three sleepers and helped produce an explainer video for MTC. The customer is a catapult centre that regularly accesses government funding to bridge academic and industry projects. The efforts of Paul and the guys helps fortify our relationship and LabExperts has been engaged for their next construction materials project.
