Robert Wood, officer cadet in training, has spent the last six weeks onboard the Sand Falcon.He posted this lovely message on social media:

“I have been extremely lucky to spend the last six weeks of my cadetship with CEMEX onboard the Sand Falcon.  I had never thought that during my time at sea I would be onboard a dredger, which has both been an insight and a pleasure.

I extend my thanks to CEMEX UK Marine for the opportunity and the Master, Captain Barlow, the officers and crew who have enhanced my knowledge and training.”

Best of luck with the rest of your career Robert – who knows, you might make it back to one of our dredgers in the future!
