Virtual CHRG Keeps Moving Despite Lockdown

Every Wednesday since mid-2019 the CHRG (CEMEX House Running Group) have been getting together at lunch time to do a 5-6km run around Rugby town.  The group aren’t letting lockdown defeat their weekly get together.  So, whilst working from home they are continuing to keep the faith and retain a sense of normality by keeping in touch and continuing with their Wednesday lunch runs.

The team are of course sticking to the social distancing rules and so are now “running together virtually” every Wednesday at lunch time and connecting pre/post via social media to encourage each other.

This week five of them (plus partners and even dogs) made it out for their weekly CHRG run.  It’s a great way to maintain fitness and mental health during the pandemic and of course looking after their hearts for Cardi-O.  Physical distancing rules are very important right now, but it doesn’t mean they can’t still be social, keeping in touch and share photos of their activities.

They’d love for any other CEMEX employees and their families to join them, previously you needed to be in Rugby to join them but they aren’t constrained by that anymore; so whether it’s a couch to 5k challenge, a short jog, or a marathon it all helps to retain a positive mind in these difficult times and it would be great to stay connected!  Email: [email protected] if you want to join in.
