To improve VPN connectivity for those working from home, a new link to access to the VPN service will be enabled to globalvpn.cemex.com The link will be automatically added by default in the Cisco AnyConnect Client so users do not have to do anything.
By using this new link the user will benefit with:
- A single name to keep in mind
- Automatic redirection to the nearest VPN node based on geolocation
- Automatic failover redirection to the backup node
This change will be automatic and be on 6th November for EMEA region.
The links vpn.cemex.com and vpnemea.cemex.com will remain available, so if you are a user trying to connect the service will keep working with both links.
