Congratulations to Rodney Thurgill for reaching his 25 years service recently. 

Rodney started with the company when it was Atlas Aggregates at Swanton Morley Quarry. He started as Dumper Driver at Swanton Morley and soon gained experience as a Loader Driver and Excavator Driver. It was during his time at Swanton he also started to gain experience on the processing plant as Relief Plant Supervisor.

When Swanton Morley closed he moved to a new quarry at Watlington near Kings Lynn and was promoted to AQM. When an AQM position became vacant at Holt Quarry and being closer to home, Rodney moved there and took the position. He has been at Holt now for 12 years.

Rodney has decided to spend his long service award on a well deserved holiday abroad in sunny Spain.  The photo shows Manager, Steven Spark, presenting Rodney with his vouchers.
