With the prize money from the Woodland Trust, Frank Hogg and team put up a notice board recording the history of the ‘Electric Oak’ at Wickwar quarry. 

The information board explains the history of the ancient 800 year old oak tree and its recent near death experience, for future generations to appreciate.
