The team at our readymix plant in York had a dramatic day last week when an air ambulance had to make a landing in the yard to pick up an injured cyclist outside the plant.  The injury was not to do with any of our vehicles but the yard provided the perfect helipad for the air ambulance to use.

A big thank you to the team, especially Chris Burns and Paul Heptinstall the plant supervisors, for managing the situation and ensuring the area was kept clear so that the emergency paramedics were able to get their patient and take back off without any delay.
