CEMEX UK RMX recently helped customer Hannah Rogers set up her new Equine Therapy Centre in Llangan. Liv Case, Readymix Cardiff, Newport & Taffs Well, was passed a lead for a potential customer, Hannah Rogers, from Equine Therapy in Bridgend.After some questioning Hannah told her that she is setting up a Therapy Centre in Llangan for children with behavioural difficulties.
This was 5 radials from our CEMEX Bridgend Plant. Hannah needed a concrete slab to hold her wooden office that had been donated by a local shed company. This cabin office will also be used as a classroom to tutor the children in maths and English. She also needed a concrete path to lead the horses from the stable block to the outdoor school which she and her mother built from scratch using YouTube tutorials.
Hannah was a complete novice to all things concrete and admitted from the get-go that we would need to ‘hold her hand’ throughout the process to make sure everything ran smoothly and the concrete was laid successfully.
After talking Hannah through the volume calculator on our CEMEX website she was able to measure up the slabs herself. We priced up for 12m for Paving HD at cost price and Hannah was not charged for part loads or waiting time. We recommended a few contractors for Hannah to contact in the Bridgend area and she eventually was able to get some help from MT Tarmac.
Hannah was extremely pleased with not only the price but also the help and support she has had from CEMEX. Chris Brown visited site on 17th December when the first load arrived. He also reiterated how delighted Hannah was with the service she has received from CEMEX. Here is a copy of her email:
