The prototype Putzmeister iONTRON e-Mixer vehicle will be operated for a week from ready-mixed production plants in Pruszków and Warsaw.

During this time CEMEX employees will assess how the tested vehicle performs in everyday tasks, during transporting and unloading of CEMEX products.

This prototype vehicle is powered solely by electricity. For the purpose of testing, the manufacturer supplies a mobile charging station with which it is possible to recharge the batteries supplying the concrete mixer during the night from 20 to 100% in eight hours.

This is another step in CEMEX’s “Future in Action” strategy to combat climate change!
