CEMEX Visits Brownsover Community School

On Thursday 14th March CEMEX was invited to Brownsover Community School to help the children learn about keeping safe around large goods vehicles.

CEMEX employee, Ian Claridge, has two children that attend the school, suggested that we may be able to help with their transport topic as part of the curriculum, with the added benefit of helping educate the children at the same time.

The children not only learned about the vulnerable areas around the vehicle but also enjoyed the view from the driver’s seat too.

The event was hosted by Area Logistics Manager, Ian Phoenix, and Rugby Cement Lead Driver, Darrell Collins. Thanks for helping to organise the event go to Ian Claridge and Mrs Gordon from Brownsover Community School.
