On Tuesday 22nd September members of Cluster 14’s commercial, operational and technical Teams ‘Lent-A-Hand’ for the Essex and Herts air Ambulance.

The charity funded rescue service is located on the Earls Colne Airfield near Braintree in Essex and this division serves all of the Essex and Hertfordshire area where they are called to attend serious road accidents or indeed any situation that requires medical attention quickly.

CEMEX helped to place the concrete for a base ready to erect an air sock on the side of the Airfield.  This was to help guide the helicopters used on call out to land with more ease.

A big thank you to all who took part and I know the Air Ambulance were very pleased we could donate our time for this community project.
