Last week Commercial Director, Craig Williamson, and a team of Commercial Managers took part in a Lend a Hand day at St Botolph’s Church, Burton Hastings, near Rugby.
Well done to the team who worked really hard to clear the church yard from debris and helped move some old headstones. Craig was joined by Managers: Richard Cowley, David Lea, Paul Gasson, David Joyce, Shaun Barker and Glyn Blake.
Craig commented: “The team did some heavy work but we had an enjoyable day which hopefully makes a difference to the church.”
Shirley Bower, Treasurer to St. Botolph’s, wrote to thank the CEMEX team: “On behalf of our PCC members, I would like to thank you and your team very much for all the work achieved on Thursday 22nd September clearing the debris from our church yard, moving old headstones etc! This was not easy work. You have all done a wonderful job and relieved us of trying to find a solution locally. Please convey our sincere thanks to all the gentlemen involved. I understand some travelled as far afield as Kent! Amazing. Sincere thanks once again.”
