If you have or know children aged between 6 – 12, encourage them to enter Radio 2’s Big Bee Challenge this week.

All they need to do is draw a bright, buzzy garden that will attract bees and other pollinating insects. They could then be in with the chance of seeing their design come to life and being part of the official opening.

This is a fun and creative way for children to learn more about bees and other insects that help provide much of the food we eat, and are essential for a healthy environment.
