Fantastic Response for Collaborative Women

This June Cemex UK have been supporting a Manchester based community interest company, Collaborative Women.

Operating out of Manchester, Collaborative Women work with victims of domestic violence and provide access to safe and affordable housing. The organisation also find ways of empowering these women to forge their own paths. The support they mostly require is with materials to assist women who have been housed or are seeking safe accommodation when they escape domestic violence. You can find out more about the organisation here: https://www.collaborativewomen.co.uk/about

Ten Cemex UK sites have been involved in collecting donations and a huge thank you goes out to everyone who donated bedding, period products and toiletries. Overall, we collected a huge amount and Damon Montgomery, North West Readymix Commercial & General Manager, was delighted to hand over some of the donations while visiting their facility for their Lend a Hand activity. They were incredibly grateful and look forward to working with Cemex on future projects.
