Floods From A Childs View…

We tend to forget the human impact of floods.This film put together by the University of Lancaster shows the impact of flooding on the lives of children in South Ferriby and Staines.  It’s a poignant reminder that, although the floods were two years ago and we have just about finished rebuilding our plant, they have a lasting impact on people.  It’s especially poignant as we have South Ferriby Plant and our Thorpe offices near both of the schools which took part.

Our Plant Manager, Jan Peters, had the chance to see the great presentation the children held in South Ferriby School and we supported the school with transport so the children could present their findings. Follow the link to view their short film:
