The latest RSPB Annual Report 2025-26 features an article “From Hard Hats to Habitats”, highlighting how the minerals industry is helping create valuable habitats for wildlife through quarry restoration.

The article recognises the long-standing partnership between Cemex and the RSPB through the Nature After Minerals programme. Together, the partnership has helped restore and manage more than 1,750 hectares of priority habitat, transforming former quarry sites into thriving spaces for wildlife.

The report also celebrates the 15-year conservation partnership between Cemex and the RSPB, highlighting the positive impact that can be achieved when industry and conservation work together.
