Two Teams from CEMEX took part in a charity ‘It’s a Knockout’ event to raise money for the Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospice. The two Teams – Cemexican Wave (Paving Solutions) and Team CEMEX (RMX) – took part in 9 events with 29 Teams. The games involved a lot of foam, water, dressing up, climbing obstacles and lots of fun with the potential to embarrass but all relied on Team work. All the Teams got stuck in and had lots of fun.
The day raised an impressive £20k with our Teams raising almost £2k.
Cemexican Wave came an impressive 2nd overall, but John Parker, from Team CEMEX RMX, who came 5th, commented that Cemexican Wave had a much easier draw against all the pub teams, not like the professional teams they had to compete against!!! Bring it on for next year!
