Celaine Cave from UK Aggregates, along with two of her fellow lady kickboxers, are taking on the Mudnificent 7 on 7th August to raise money for Myton Hospice. It is a 7km challenge with each km being a different Zone with different obstacles and challenges.
Celaine explains: “Watching the videos from previous year’s events it looks pretty challenging, but we have all already started training so we can smash it and hopefully raise lots of money for Myton in the process.
Myton Hospice is a charity very close to my heart after losing my friend’s mum just over two years ago. The care and support they provided to her and her family was invaluable and with the pandemic they have lost a great deal of funding over the last 12 months. We wanted to find a way to combine increasing our fitness and strength levels whilst raising money for a local charity, so this is perfect. Any donation you can spare would be gratefully received.”
