Thanks to Ian Kerr, Quarry Manager, for posting these pictures of some recent visitors to the bird feeders at Cambusmore quarry – a Spotted Woodpecker feeding her chick and a field mouse.  It is amazing to think that this is taking place within a few metres of the site offices.

More wildlife was also spotted by Ops Manager, Drew Crombie…. Surely there’s an entry to the MPA photo competition amongst this lot??
