This years lend-a-hand for Pallett Hill quarry brought the team to Catterick Village where they were helping staff of Catterick Sports Association, which is completely volunteer run.
The pavilion grounds and car park were overgrown and in need of clearing, and broken fencing needed reinstating. The sun shone on the team as they cleared away overgrown hedges and strimmed the site. They also had a tall order to clear a large area in the car park in front of the pavilion that was totally unusable and an eyesore, so they dug it off to lay a membrane and gravel the area.
Thank you to all those who were involved with this great team effort, including Ian White, Edd Hobbs and Toby Byers who took part but are not pictured.
