Well done to the Southampton employees who volunteered at Southampton Sea Cadets for this year’s Lend-a-Hand.  They worked hard despite the weather to lay a new hard standing at the cadet’s building.

The new building and surrounding hard standing will enable the unit to double their membership to 80 cadets.

The work was completed over two days by Kevin Fooks (Marine), Jason Cook (Readymix), James Grew (Contractor) and Andrew Wilson (Marine) on day one, and Kevin Fooks, James Grew, Rebecca Rickaby (Marine), Susie Taylor (Marine), Marian Perry (Marine), Joe Holcroft (Marine) and Andrew Wilson (Marine) on day two.
