Colleagues are being encouraged to support Tom Barnes, Lab Technician at Northfleet Block Plant, who is taking on the London Half Marathon to raise money for ECHO – Evelina Children’s Heart Organisation.

ECHO is a charity that provides vital support to children with heart conditions and their families. The cause is particularly meaningful to Tom, as the charity has helped support both his family and his son Freddie, through a challenging time.

Described by colleagues as a positive and down-to-earth member of the team, Tom is aiming to give something back to the organisation that has made such a difference to his family’s life. He is hoping to raise valuable funds to help ECHO continue supporting other families facing similar experiences.
