After the recent tropical storms in Dominica (Caribbean Islands) CEMEX Rail Solutions Washwood Heath, started filling aid barrels with food, clothing and toiletries to send to the victims of the storms.

Dwayne Brade (pictured centre), Assistant Foreman, originates from the Caribbean and asked for support.

The Team on site pulled out all the stops to help by filling all four barrels. The barrels have now been sent to a distribution centre before being shipped out.

Plant Manager, Terry Gillooly, said:  “The guys on site never fail to surprise me with their generosity; the amount of items donated in such a short space of time is remarkable.”
