A new member of the RSPB Team has joined CEMEX.  Jenny Oldroyd is our new RSPB Advisor.  Jenny is based in Yorkshire and will be working part time alongside Sam Tarrant, our current RSPB conservation Advisor.

She already has 12 years of RSPB experience under her belt including working on the Twite conservation project (so Dove Holes is close to her heart.) Initially she will be focused on our larger quarry sites in the North, but as she says “there is something to do everywhere.” So she is keen to encourage all our sites to do what they can for nature.  She has already been out in the business visiting sites helping support our biodiversity efforts.  So look out for Jenny and if you have any nature questions about your site don’t hesitate to contact her on 07841 317034.
