Last week Martin Casey, Public Affairs and Communications Director, CEMEX UK and EU Public Affairs, joint authored a sustainability blog with the RSPB.  The blog was on the latest consultation from DEFRA about a new environmental watchdog.

The blog focuses on how business and environmental organisations working together can form effective partnerships and that effective regulation needs effective regulators.  It points out that there is a need for a review of these regulators given that Brexit may affect the UK’s access to European regulators who we currently enjoy the support of.  It then examines what the function of such a new UK watchdog might be.
