Recently our new CEO, Jaime Muguiro received a heartfelt email from a member of the public in the UK, who expressed sincere thanks to a UK Readymix Driver, Paul McGrath, for his considerate driving near Altrincham in Greater Manchester.

Paul had stopped his vehicle and allowed the individual and his friend to safely pass with their horses. This act of kindness and adherence to driving codes and regulations exemplifies the safety culture we strive for every single day at Cemex.

Paul, a contract haulier (IHC, Independent Haulage Contractor) working out of our Altrincham Readymix plant, has been personally thanked by our Operations Manager and received a message of appreciation from our UK Materials MD, Lex Russell.

Given the rural nature of the area, our Drivers are well-versed in driving on country roads and showing the needed courtesy and care.
