It is pleasing to report on an incident free week for both employees and contractors. Although we have been having a very encouraging trend recently, incidents such as the one reported last week involving a tipper truck hitting an overhead cable are reminders of the imperative need to always respect our safety procedures and policies. We must make sure we all enter the “back to work” period after the long weekend break fully mobilised on Health & Safety and with the willingness to look after ourselves and our colleagues, starting with always applying the “Stop, Think and Check” principle, and always stepping in when we observe any risk.
