We thought it may be useful to highlight again an idea that was trialled in the UK back in October 2020.
The team at Hamer Warren were having issues with their security combination locks being compromised so it was suggested by the Security team to try Bluetooth padlocks. These devices give the flexibility to allow or remove assess rights to individuals and also specific time periods, plus the associated ‘app’ also logs who has activated the lock and when.
Other sites are now starting to use these including Angerstein Wharf. Thanks to Garry Pidgley, John Sweeting and Jamie Keeble for sharing this!
