Brian Dale, at our Springetts Asphalt Plant, had a fantastic idea in creating a portable spillage tray.  The tray sits under the main conveyor where most of the spillages happen, even more so during the winter.  Brian made the tray himself at minimal cost and it has played a huge part in reducing manual handling.

It is a simple but brilliant idea which also helps keep the surrounding areas clean, reducing the risk of slips, trips and falls too. This is a great idea which could be used at other CEMEX sites.  Well done to Brian and thank you for taking the time to think of and make this great idea.
