This week, a journalist from Le Parisien newspaper came to the UK specifically to find out more about CEMEX UK’s safety measures to protect cyclists, pedestrians and other vulnerable road users.

Le Parisien is one of the biggest news outlets in France, with 655,000 followers on YouTube and 3.4 million Facebook followers. Laura’s interest followed tragic incidents on the roads of Paris, and she contacted CEMEX UK directly to understand how the new Direct Vision Standard implemented in London has helped companies to adapt their fleet. She had already seen that CEMEX had invested in UK for safer HGVs to protect cyclists and pedestrians in London, with low entry cabs and other technologies installed.

Laura spent several hours at our Angerstein site learning about our vehicles, and even went on the road in two of our trucks to experience the safety features first hand.
