Last week two people got hurt whilst at work for CEMEX. We didn’t keep them safe.

It could have been you or a team member. We are all responsible for keeping each other and ourselves safe from harm.

Especially in the cold and frosty weather please be extra careful not to slip over.  Both the incidents involved slips, trips and falls.

One person slipped whilst entering a site, bumped and grazed his head and bruised his shoulder.   The other injury happened to a contractor who fell as he was about to climb down from his loading shovel.  He fractured his wrist and can only return to work on restricted duties.

Please STOP AND THINK, STEP IN AND GET A GRIP…..
