Cemex UK has once again been awarded the Gold FORS Award for its fleet management.

Congratulations to everyone involved and special thanks to Supply Chain Compliance Officers: Hugh Reynolds and Alan Flippance, for leading the accreditation process.

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators which aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, and to demonstrate which operators are achieving exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection.

Gold accreditation is only awarded to exceptional operators who have met exacting targets.

On sharing the certificate with the teams Hugh commented: “Thanks to all on the ground who helped getting us through this year’s application, despite the increasing demands from FORS for information. The cooperation and teamwork from all ensured we got through our Silver and Gold for another year. Well done.”
