The team at Salford Aggregates plant have recently been trialling a mist cannon to reduce dust on site.

The unit is mobile so it can be moved around to problem areas but is only used when required.

The unit sweeps automatically, it only requires the desired sweep setting to be input. The unit uses a mixture of water and air in the nozzles which creates a very fine atomising water droplet which is propelled by the water cannon fan.

So far, the trials are going well, particularly in the heat of the past week.
