The latest Safety Alert relates to a contractor injury in a UK quarry. The Alert is another reminder about the importance of having robust contractor management processes in place, as well as always following the Safety Essential ‘Get a Grip’, including when entering or exiting a vehicle.  This habit helps prevents slips, trips and falls, especially in wet or even conditions.

As well as discussing this with team members, please also take the opportunity to carefully review the learning points and address any gaps that are identified.  This Alert can also be used as part of the new EMEA Prevention of Slips, Trips and Falls campaign that was recently launched and that will run during November.
