The latest Video Safety Alert relates to an incident where a driver lost control of his loaded Readymix truck on a bend in the road. The driver was very fortunate to avoid a collision as his vehicle veered across the oncoming traffic, risking potentially fatal injuries to himself and third parties.  Excessive speed and distraction were factors in the incident.

Please discuss the alert with your teams, taking the opportunity to remind haulage drivers, including contractors, about the risk of vehicle rollovers and the relevant control measures.
