Following on from the safety stand down and the focus on contractors, Leyburn’s weekly meeting took place during a busy maintenance day at both Leyburn quarry and Leyburn coating plant.

Volvo SMT, Komatsu, Brec and KMH electrical were all completing essential maintenance along team Leyburn’s in-house maintenance tasks. Some of the discussion topics included the Leyburn Hipo incident, why so many contractors get hurt, stepping in, NMHA, defect reporting, recent and the worrying trend on LTIs, and other incidents.
