For colleagues who require prescription safety glasses please follow this following procedure to place an order.

• Check the Cemex authorised persons list to find your local contact. Click HERE for the list. If you are not sure please ask your Line Manager.
• Ask the authorised person to log in to Uvex to download prescription eyewear forms.
• The Cemex authorised person authorises the form and issues it to you.

Visit an optician with the Uvex prescription form and chooses a frame from the Uvex collection.

  • It is advised to ring the optician before visiting to ensure they provide the service. Vision Express no longer provide this service.

• The optician conducts your eye test, completes the form and returns it direct to Uvex.
• The safely glasses are manufactured by Uvex and then dispatched to the optician.
• Visit the optician for final fitting/dispensing.
• Cemex receives one invoice for the complete service.

Any new requests for authorising personnel will need to be sent directly to NSS via support@nssgb.co.uk and should include the following information:

• Name of person requiring authorisation plus job title
• Email address
• Contact number
• Site/Sites address
