Recently several parts of the UK business have been undergoing external audits to attain accreditation to the ISO45001 Health and Safety Management standard. ISO45001 is the successor to ISO18001 and is intended to align systems to the Quality (ISO9001) and Environmental (ISO14001) standards.

Building Products (Rail) were the first to attain the new requirements closely followed by Rugby Cement, it is hoped that this will be followed by Paving Solutions in the coming weeks.

It is a credit to the teams involved that the process was completed in a relatively short time and with very few problems encountered.
