Massive congratulations to the Paving Solutions team for winning the 2018/9 Safety Sword.  The competition was fierce, but the Paving Solutions team edged out in front.  Sergio Menendez, our new European President, commented: “Congratulations to the UK Paving team for winning the Safety Award! A major achievement considering the level of competition across UK operations.”

Chris Leese, Chair of the UK Health & Safety Committee in charge of selecting the winners commented: “The Safety Committee agreed that Paving Solutions were the clear winners. The judges were particularly  impressed with the progress this business has made in recent years, its LTI free performance despite the most challenging of working conditions, the progress made on introducing ‘health’ through the appointment of wellbeing champions, the very clear family values adopted by the team and finally the degree of engagement that the workforce clearly have with health and safety.”
