Managers should be aware of the requirement to complete their Health and Safety Management System Self-Assessments on INTELEX by the end the year, and develop local improvement plans by 18th January 2019. If we are to gain maximum benefit from this process and ensure we have robust plans that will help prevent future injury, it is important that this exercise is undertaken thoroughly and objectively, and not regarded as a simple “tick box” exercise.
